January 7th 2025.

This is a slightly controversial one. In this one, I am going to be speaking from my heart, and I would love to hear all your opinions on this one as well, especially car enthusiasts. You can always email [email protected]. I really want to start a conversation on this.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I haven’t uploaded, and I am truly sorry for this. College has been hard on me lately, but I swear to god, I will upload as consistently as possible. Appreciate all your love and support.

Now, I know I am late for a New Year Post. I am still shamelessly pretending I am not (because I can lol). Happy New Year, guys. Wherever you are, I just hope that you have a great 2025, and I am praying for all of you!

Formalities aside, let’s start. As we enter into 2025, it’s a strange world for enthusiasts, and it’s changing quite rapidly. But the one thing that hasn’t changed, is the ridiculous amount of keyboard warriors and ridiculous amounts of hate in the car community. Same for motorcycles. There is a lot of innovation, a lot of rapid change, there are so many fuel sources, and according to pessimists, car culture might be dying! Internal combustion engines are at a tough place, there are very few good driver’s cars left, Hybrids and Electric Vehicles are taking over, car prices are getting more expensive, and so much more. The car world is chaotic, and purists, are mad as ever. But what really grinds my gears, is the amount of hate, pessimism, toxicity, and spec-sheet warrior-ism (Don’t know if that’s a word, lol) in a place that I like to call home. Not to mention show-off culture and status games. Now, you can say that there is hate everywhere, why am I so irritated now? It’s because it’s too much. I need to be real. Y’all need to CHILL OUT! TAKE A CHILL PILL GUYS! I MEAN IT SERIOUSLY!

Now, once you all (and me, because what kind of chill guy writes in caps?) have taken a deep breath, and calmed down, hear me out. It’s a new year, and there is a lot of chaos, and there is a lot of uncertainty, but with a new year, with a new beginning, there is always hope. Hope for a better future. A better car, a better motorcycle, or “finally a motorcycle”, you get the gist. The future isn’t going to be any brighter, if there is hate, pessimism, toxicity, spec-sheet trash-talking competitions, and show-off culture! The car community needs to change. We must be positive, and weed out the bad apples! If we want a change for the better, we must change, and improve ourselves! We must raise our standards to a higher bar. We must ask for the right things, and stand for what’s right for us, as a community of petrol-heads. Those who like cars for the wrong reasons, they aren’t car-guys anyway. They will leave the scene ones they realize they aren’t getting enough validation, or they don’t get any support when they are hating on something. Everyone has different taste. Everyone’s opinions and individual tastes must be respected. It’s time for positive change, for the hate to end, for the car community to blossom into a force that actually spreads peace, brings joy, and helps everyone around them. I am not asking y’all to donate and do all that cheesy NGO stuff(it’s a good idea, though). My point is, don’t be a jerk. Kids are always looking at you and your fancy car, and getting inspired by you. Be a good role model for them. It’s these small things that will bring change. It’s time, for the car community to be a good thing, something that’s as admired as, cricket? (I am being ambitious lol). It’s time, for a hard reset.
